Message from the Chairman
To My Esteemed Colleagues, Members and Community Partners,
Over the past decade, we have seen the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce grow significantly. From our membership base to our community involvement as well as our financial stability, we have flourished into one of the Top Chambers in the area and even the State. Servicing the Barrier Island Communities as well as all of Pinellas County’s visitors, we seek to continue our development through many new and exciting enhancements over the years to come.
The recent challenging times we have experienced have allowed organizations and staff to be more creative and find new ways to meet and exceed outlined goals. Over the next several years as an organization, your Beaches Chamber looks to add mutually beneficial Strategic Alliances such as the BAPS program. We will seek to create and execute incremental fundraising events as a way to self-sustain and reinvest into the Chamber and all of its faculties. Thus be on the look out for new monthly and even annual events. We want to stimulate additional awareness of this area’s best assets; from the Beaches to the Culture, the shops, accommodations, and exquisite cuisine, this area is a wonderful destination to enjoy for a little time or a life time. Through Sales Missions and enhanced Public Relations, we can create a broader awareness of what our 13 Communities have to offer. Overall, we will continue to add value to your membership, the community and the businesses by becoming more involved, more aware and more proactive.
We believe our 2011 goals are inline with that of its members, its community and their leaders to ensure we enhance the businesses and overall experiences from this region for those who live here, do business here and visit here. And it is with great honor that I have the privilege to follow the previous leaders with an opportunity to review their success stories and build on them. I am both humbled and overwhelmed with excitement to be the first person to help lead this organization into the next exciting decade!
