TAMPA BAY BEACHES HURRICANE INFORMATION

AS OF 4PM ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2022

Pinellas County has issued a MANDATORY evacuation for ZONES A, B & C. (This means if you are not gone before the storm hits help will only be able to respond after the storm passes;  please take action NOW.)

Hotels need to remove all visitors ASAP as ZONE A properties are mandatory evacuation at 6 pm Monday; we are encouraging their departure as soon as possible.

City of St. Pete Beach:

Sandbags are available to city residents at Egan Park (9101 Blind Pass Road - the lot next to the boat parking) and Horan Park (7581 Boca Ciega Drive - on the wall next to Public Works). If anyone needs additional bags or assistance, the staff at the St Pete Beach Community Center and Pool are available the following times:

Monday, September 26: 9am - 3pm
Tuesday, September 27: 9am - 3pm

 

City of Treasure Island: 

Does not issue sand bags. This city adheres to what Pinellas County offers which can be found at: http://www.pinellascounty.org/emergency/sandbags.htm

 

City of Madeira Beach:

Self-serve sandbags will be available for city residents at Madeira Beach Marina (503 150th Ave, Madeira Beach, FL 33708) Marina office until 7 pm. Re-entry passes available at Madeira Beach City Hall beginning 8 am Monday, Sept 26 until 4:30 pm, as well as Tuesday and Wednesday.

 

Town of Redington Beach:

Sandbags will be available for RESIDENTS ONLY at the Town Hall (105 164th Avenue Redington Beach, FL 33708). Re-entry passes will be available for Town residents starting Monday, September 26th at 8am. Please bring ID, Limit 2 per property.

 

Town of Redington Shores:

Sand for sandbags is located in the shell parking lot behind Town Hall. Please bring your own shovels. Sandbags are located at the back door of town hall (17425 Gulf Blvd., Redington Shores, FL 33708). 10 Sandbags per address, please. Proof of residency is required.

 

Town of North Redington:

Sandbags will be available at the Town Hall (190 173rd Ave, North Redington Beach, FL 33708)

 

Town of Indian Shores: 

Re-entry passes are available on the second floor of the municipal building from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday – Friday. Contact City of Indian Shores with any questions. 

 

City of South Pasadena: 

Sandbags available to residents at City Hall Annex, 6940 Hibiscus Ave. S. behind the building; enter the back parking lot from Bignonia Avenue South. Limit 10 bags per household.

City of Indian Rocks Beach: 

Sandbags available to residents and property owners only, starting Monday, Sept. 26 at 9 a.m. at Kolb Park, 1507 Bay Palm Blvd. 9 a.m.-9 p.m. daily, as supplies last. 20 bag limit per address.
