Of all the County Commission meetings, local updates and Governor’s orders, within an hour and sometimes less, the Chamber was communicating with members every step of the way. Informing us about every step of the beaches closing, to restaurant rules, local and state efforts, etc.

"We appreciate everything Robin and the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber does for the small businesses on the beaches. Your terrific staff is always there for members from ribbon cuttings to anniversaries you are there to draw attention to your members, in print, online and with multiple locations to meet with visitors.

Your and Doug’s lobbying for business at all levels of government, sponsoring educational programs and 'lunch and learns' that become win-win opportunities for members to share information about their businesses and learn about technological advantages.

Thinking about the value of the chamber to our business tin the past year I have only to point to my involvement with your Business Referral Team networking group. I must admit at one time feeling that spending an early hour or two a month with other business people was a waste of my time, however, I no longer feel that way at all.

Our biggest advertising sale is a ‘cover story’ costing to $3,600 - $10,000 each. I have sold 4 of the last 10 cover stories to people I met in that room, and I know for sure. That business would not have happened if not for the chamber and the BRT.

Fears of COVID-19 have virtually shut down the industry for most of your members and many of our advertisers, but, by tightening our belts and persevering, we have managed to publish and circulate editions of Paradise NEWS each month in print and each week online, during
the quarantine, doing our best to inform and entertain, as is our practice.
